A suicide bomber reportedly blew himself up inside a hall in Tall Tawil, killing dozens of people and injuring more in the process. The number of people killed has not been confirmed but at least 30 people were killed with 90 more injured in the attack.
The attack which took place on the outskirts of the Northeastern Syrian city of Hasaka on Monday interrupted a wedding party at Kudish, claiming the lives of 22 people, including the groom.
ISIS has claimed responsibility for the deadly suicide bombing with hopes to de-stabilize the embattled country. A statement that was posted on twitter said ISIS suicide bomber ambushed a kudish worker at the party with a machine gun, and after he ran out of ammunitions, the attacker blew up his explosive vest.
The United states and Russia held a cease fire meeting to negotiate a peace alliance but the US claimed that Russia had not lived up to the " commitment" and negotiations broke down. Syria, which is experiencing one of its bloodiest civil war particularly Aleppo, has made life difficult for citizens who still live in the embattled regions.
A seven year old Bana Alabed tweeted a photo a week ago " Good afternoon from Aleppo, i'm reading to forget the war". For those living in the torn city, living is more of a " daily luck" as Aleppo has become a site where bombs are being dropped on regular basis.
Bana said " the bombs hit next house as you can see, my soul could be taken anytime by the bombs here".
