The leader of the indigenous people of Biafra Nnamdi KANU, has given stern warnings to Former president Olusegun Obasanjo and his Lineage.
While addressing Chieftains and Elders in Ibeku, Umuahia, Abia State, Nnamdi Kanu said his group would kill Obasanjo if any attempt is made on his life.
This warning came shortly after Obasanjo remarked that Nigerians must do everything possible to stop the campaigning for the secession of Biafra.
He reiterated that failure to end the Biafra agitation could spell doom for Nigerians, recalling the 1996 coup and the other events that eventually culminated in the Civil war.
Nnamdi Kanu swiftly responded by saying
" I remember Obasanjo calling us names. They said we must eliminate Kanu and for those words coming out of his mouth, he is going to die".
" I told Obasanjo that I have given instructions to IPOB should anything happen to me. Everything that comes from Obasanjo lineage will fie the same day at the same Time. It's a standing instruction to IPOB".
' Wherever they are, we will kill them ourselves at the same time, the same day, 12 noon, wherever we find them all over the world. I am not like anything they have seen before".
While these words drew positive reviews from the audience, others criticized him and his agenda.
